M Shoes (“Manik Shoes”)

Manic Shoes started in 1986, 30 years ago as a small home based business. The business is done by husband and wife in a very small scale. Few years later, due to lack of business knowledge and financial management, M Shoes faced several operational issues. But fortunately Industrial Development Authority of Western Province gave the helping hands in 2006 by providing necessary equipments (Machines) and knowledge through training to up lift the business again.

Now M Shoes produces more than 100 units a day and employed two permanent employees. Also M Shoes moves in to bag manufacturing with the guidance of Industrial Development Authority of Western Province. Not only providing the support, but also creates the Market Space through trade fares to market the products. Industrial Development Authority is a part of Current success of M Shoes.

IT Training for Small scale businesses
Industrial Development Authority will be starting a new project under the theme of 'Empowering Next Generation of Industrialists' to educate industrialists on Information Technology for small businesses in July 2017.
